Kid: Mommy?
Mom: Yes?
Kid: The train is very fast.
Mom: Mhm.
Kid: Mommy, do you know what the train makes me think of? It...it makes me think of. a burger. because I like to eat burgers really fast. and the train is really fast.

Two bus drivers racing to see who could go faster.
It was the 1 and the 1R. Apparently someone broke a rule in bus-driving courtesy, so when the two buses were both at a red light the driver for the 1 rolled down his window and talked down and snickered at the driver for the 1R. They began to race, two giant buses weaving in and out of traffic.

A bus driver was about to kick a man off the bus for not having enough for the fare. The man was disabled, sitting in a wheelchair, and already strapped in. A stranger stepped up and paid the man’s fare, and proceeded to smack talk the bus driver and the whole bus system for the rest of the ride.

A fat old man (65+) with spectacles and a Santa beard wearing skin-tight black spandex tights and a fanny pack.
He sat across from me on the bus and proceeded to tell me about his old career as a computer programmer at Cal, and how he is retired and now teaches GO! to middleschoolers. He also told me that he purchased a used book from Shakespeare and Co and found Aldous Huxley’s autograph...

6 police officers administering CPR to an unconscious guy at the San Leandro BART station platform. He had on a CPR mask that was linked to an oxygen tank, and the police men were folding his arms over his chest, about to lift his body onto a stretcher and wheel him off to the hospital.
